D-chiro-Inositol

The inositols and their phosphates have been used in the development of metabolically stable insulin mediators, inhibitors, and modulators of important metabolic functions such as glycolysis.
D-chiro Inositol is one of the nine isomers of inositol that possesses optical activity. In recent years, studies have shown that D-chiro inositol (DCI) not only has the function of promoting liver lipid metabolism, but also has insulin sensitization effects, hypoglycemic effects, improvement of ovulation in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), regulation of hormone balance, improvement of menstrual disorders, as well as special physiological functions such as antioxidation, anti-aging, and anti-inflammation.
